In one of the most interesting cultural complexes of Venice, Palazzo Querini Stampalia, there is the headquarters of the Foundation of the same name, established in 1868 by Count Giovanni, where are set up the library, the museum and an area for temporary exhibitions.

The library, which conserves and makes available around 400,000 volumes including ancient works and modern books, is open until late at night and also on holidays.

The museum, on the other hand, presents 18th century and neoclassical furniture, porcelain, sculptures, globes and paintings from the 14th to the 20th century, mostly from the Venetian school, which convey the atmosphere of the patrician residence.

Among the works, there are paintings by Giovanni Bellini, Jacopo Palma il Vecchio and il Giovane, Bernardo Strozzi, Marco and Sebastiano Ricci and Giambattista Tiepolo, Pietro Longhi and Gabriel Bella.

An intense program of educational activities offers different audiences ever new ways of reading the museum, the library, the exhibitions and the architecture of the Palace itself, through workshops and educational paths.
