Venice doubles New Year's Eve: two different proposals to say goodbye to the old year and welcome 2026, in the lagoon and on the mainland, with great music and the unparalleled spectacle of fireworks.
The New Year's Eve event in 2026 is organized by Vela Spa on behalf of the Municipality of Venice.
New Year's Eve in Venice with fireworks to welcome 2026! On December 31st, at midnight, everyone will look up for the pyrotechnic show illuminating the Bacino di San Marco.
The toast of good wishes, illuminated by fireworks, will characterize the New Year's Eve night in Venice! As the clock strikes midnight, the Bacino di San Marco, in front of the Arsenale, will light up thanks to the pyrotechnic spectacle designed to welcome the most anticipated night of the year in an exciting and suggestive setting.
The best view to enjoy the show is near the Actv Arsenale stop: Riva degli Schiavoni, Riva Ca’ di Dio, Riva San Biagio, Riva dei Sette Martiri (the fireworks are not visible from Piazza and Piazzetta San Marco). The fireworks reflect on the Bacino di San Marco, creating plays of light on the water, framing the midnight chimes.
