Biblioteca Pedagogica "Lorenzo Bettini" (Pedagogical Library)

This library, centrally located a few steps from Piazza San Marco and the San Zaccaria public transport stop, in addition to its rich collection of Italian language books for children and teenagers, offers you and your children the opportunity to see beautifully-illustrated albums, to read books or to play board games in English, French, Spanish or German.

On the ground floor, where there is a section for children aged 0-4 years, a large room - furnished with brightly-coloured chairs and tables and comfortable seats, perfect for breastfeeding or for expectant mothers to rest - welcomes children and their parents. Immediately adjacent to the entrance there is also a bathroom with a baby changing table.

Upstairs, either for yourself or for older children, there are five internet terminals connected to a Wi-Fi network and comfortable tables. You can connect and purchase access cards through the Venezia Unica portal. Click here for available tickets.

During the academic year the library organises reading and creativity workshops, open to the public and sometimes in foreign languages, for which reservations are required.
