TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE (concise version)

The activity will be carried out only:
- IF there are suitable weather conditions. The University reserves the rights to cancel the Dragon Boat Tour or modify the route in case of bad weather, even after the activity has started.
- IF at least 12 participants are present. The activity will be cancelled if there are not at least a minimum of 12 participants.
Our staff will inform the participants at the beginning or during the Dragon Boat Tour, and supply information about possible ticket reimbursement - Check-in time is 15 minutes before the beginning of the tour.


PARTICIPANTS
How to participate:
- All participants must be in good health and able to swim. Knowledge on rowing is not necessary.
- Minors (13-17yrs) must accompanied by a responsible adult (1 adult per minor) subject to parental or ward permission.
- Disabled persons are invited to write to cafoscaritour@unive.it to evaluate accessibility, at least 3 working days before the chosen date.
Unable to participate:
- Minor under the age of 13yrs
- Those under the effects of alcohol or psycho-pharmaceutical preparations
This activity is discouraged for:
- People suffering from certain health conditions (for example: heart disease, asthma, epilepsy, etc.)
- People sensitive to closed, narrow, tight conditions
- People suffering from Aquaphobia
- Women in pregnancy
The following are not admitted:
- Animals
- Voluminous objects
Each participant is held personally responsible for his/her own behaviour.
The University refuses any responsibility regarding accidents and/or damages to persons, objects and third parties. 

CLOTHING
What to wear:
- a T shirt/sweatshirt or such, suitable to any sporting activity;
- closed-in shoes with non-slip rubber soles: the jetty and the bottom of the boat might be wet and therefore slippery;
- trousers for easy movement;
- hat for a sunny day.
At the moment of boarding, the skipper will check that participants respect the above rules.
Should anyone not respect the above rules, he/she will not be allowed on board. This must be considered as a guarantee for his/her own personal safety and that of other participants.
An obligatory life-jacket and a paddle will be given to each participant before beginning the Dragon Boat Tour. Both items (in good condition) must be restored at the end of the tour.
Should such equipment be restored in a damaged condition i.e. whatever considered over and beyond normal wear and tear, the University then reserves the right to debit/charge for the cost of repair/replacement for the item.

BOOKING & PURCHASE
Groups: (12 people minimum)
Send an email to  ticketing@velaspa.com at least 15 days before the chosen date. After contacting the office, payment must be made online by credit card or bank transfer.
Requests will be evaluated according to personnel availability.
