COOKIE Policy

VE.LA S.p.A. (hereinafter also referred to as "VELA") provides the following information regarding the operation of cookies within the website http://www.veneziaunica.it/ (hereinafter also referred to as the "Site"), also under the Provision of Guarantee of Privacy "Identification of the simplified procedure for reporting and the acquisition of consent for the use of cookies" dated May 8, 2014 (hereafter also referred to as the " Provision ").

A.        What are cookies?
Cookies are short fragments of text (letters and / or numbers) that allow the web server to store client information (the browser) to be re-used during the same visit to the site (session cookies) or later, even after a number of days (persistent cookies). Cookies are stored, based on user preferences, from the browser on the specific device used (computer, tablet, smartphone).
Cookies are useful because they allow a website to recognize the user's device. They have different purposes, such as allowing efficient navigation between pages, storing favourite sites, and generally improving the navigation experience. They also help ensure that online display content is more targeted to the user and his/her interests. Depending upon the function and purpose of use, cookies can be classified as technical cookies, profiling cookies, and third-party cookies. This Site makes use of technical cookies and third party cookies.
Depending on the characteristics and the use of cookies we can distinguish different categories:

1. Technical cookies.
Technical cookies are used solely to "transmit a communication on an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the service provider explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide said service "(see Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Code). They are not used for further purposes and are normally installed directly by the owner or manager of the website. They may be subdivided into navigation or session cookies, which ensure normal navigation and use of the website; Cookie analytics are similar to technical cookies when used directly by the website manager to collect aggregated information regarding the number of users and how they visit the site; functionality cookies allow the user to navigate according to a set of selected criteria in order to improve the service provided.
No prior user consent is required for installation of said cookies.
These cookies can be disabled and / or deleted through browser settings. All modern browsers allow modifications to cookie settings. Usually these settings can be found in the "Options" or "Preferences" menu of the user's browser. To understand these settings, the following links may be useful. Or you can use the "Help" option in your browser for more information.

2. Third Party Cookies
During navigation, the User may also receive cookies from different sites or web servers (so-called "third-party cookies") on his or her device. This is because the Site may include items such as images, maps, sounds, and specific links to web pages from other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which the requested page is located. In other words, these cookies are set directly by managers of websites or servers other than the Site itself. These third parties could in theory set up cookies while you are visiting the Site and thus obtain information regarding the fact that you have visited a VELA website.
You will find more information about using cookies by accessing the link shown. If the User decides not to grant permission to use third-party cookies, they may only use Site features that do not require such cookies.

Targeting cookies: targeting cookies can be linked to third-party services such as social media “like” apps or targeted advertising campaigns developed by third-party providers that provide services and in return indicate that the user has visited the company site or for remarketing actions.
Ve.La. S.p.A. uses targeting cookies to link to social networks, which may then take advantage of the user's visit information to convey advertising posted on other sites.
The advertising networks used by the company can benefit from the information provided by you about your visit and your preferences during navigation to present you with advertising in which you may be interested.
For each third party cookie on the Site, we provide the name, purpose, third party name that retains the information and its link to the third party website.
